Morgantown Camping

Coopers Rock State Forest

Gently nestled off the main road leading to the Coopers Rock overlook, this campground is perfect for families looking for a quiet night in the woods.  The Coopers Rock camground features electric in all campsites, hot showers and plenty of natural attractions which will keep you busy.

Directions from Morgantown
East on 68 to Coopers Rock Exit. Turn right at the end of the exit and follow the Coopers Rock signs. The entrance to the campground will be on your left.

Chestnut Ridge Campground

Always bustling, you'll never run out of things to do at Chestnut Ridge.  This campground offers fishing, cabins, skiing, snow boarding, hiking, biking and even boating.

East on 68 to Coopers Rock Exit #15. Go left at end of the exit. Then go right on to East old 73 for 1/4 mile. Left on to Sandsprings Road and the campground is about a mile on left

Sand Springs Campground

Just minutes away from Coopers Rock, Sand Springs serves as a perfect resting place for any weekend warrior getting away from the city.  Feel free to enjoy the pool, game room, general store and planned campground events.

Pine Hill Campground

Tents are optional at Pine Hill where you can stay in a heated cabin or choose their innovative "Try It" program.  Opt for the "Try It" program and have Pine Hill provide everything you need for a comfortable night of camping except a sleeping bag.

Directions from Morgantown

Go east on I-68.  Take Exit 29 - Hazelton.  
On Hazelton Road, follow the signs by heading South on County Route 5 for 3 miles. Turn right onto Cherry Grove Road, then go straight 1.5 miles to Pine Hill on the right.
